There are now over 3,500 iPad applications in the App Store.
The disappointing part to the announcements by Mr. Jobs was the delayed release of the iPhone OS 4.0 features for the iPad.
iPhone OS 4 will work with iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and the second- and third-generation iPod touch this summer, and with iPad in the fall.
